Too complicated? Don’t worry and enjoy our video on how to install an LED light bulb:
LED lighting is probably the easiest way to ‘go green’ for your household. Just buy purchasing a few light bulbs you can make an impact. A 100 watt light bulb being used for a few hours per day emits over 100kg of CO2 during one year alone. Now, expand that out to all the light bulbs in your house – you’ll be surprised how many you have. You can cut the CO2 emissions down about 80% just by taking the simple steps of changing a light bulb.
Not only does changing a light bulb help Mother Nature, it also helps your wallet. By making the simple investment in a LED light bulb, you save over $250 per bulb over the life of the bulb. Multiply that by the 25 bulbs in your house and you save well over $6,000 over the life of your bulbs!
Saving money just got easier. So did going green. It’s as easy as changing a light bulb. Follow the easy installation instructions in our video to learn how to change your current light bulbs to LED. Have some fun, we did!
LED headlights for cars last 10 times longer than standard halogen lights and 5 times longer than HIDs. Acura has taken this ingenuity into their new, trademarked ‘Jewel Eye’ LED headlights. Watch the video they created that both showcases and details the technology.
Acura’s new 2014 RLX & MDX both will utilize LED lighting technology for their new headlights on the models. Eventually, all new models will include the ‘Jewel Eye’ technology. Here’s why: the headlights provide a stunning new look even without being turned on. Still, once turned on the lights provide bright, clear light in a daylight white color temperature. The headlights even provide lighting in place of traditional fog lights. Less power draw from higher efficiency will allow there to be less power draw on the car providing increases fuel efficiency.
Only Aaron in the office probably has the skillset to review each car model, but we all at Green Lighting LED are excited about the advancement in automotive lighting. Traditionally LEDs only functioned well as taillights. Audi started the revolution to LED headlights as early as 2008. Now, they have a website completely focused on their LEDs.
This only continues to testify to the evolution of LED lighting and it’s progression over time. We’ve witnessed firsthand how LED lights have evolved and technology has improved over the years. Check out our own video on the LED lighting evolution of PAR lamps here:
From LED headlights, to PAR lamps, to O LEDs – the lighting industry will never be the same as it was 10 years ago. The past decade has revolutionized the industry and Green Lighting LED continues to provide the highest quality lighting solutions in the industry.
